yeah on nostr reputation is everything and its harder to fake here than on legacy social media. they'll be able to spin up a million fake npubs overnight to follow 1 fake influencer but it'll be a dead giveaway.
I've noticed on previous bot waves there is often a few precursor accounts that have been run by an actual person, getting on many follow lists and integrated into the wot. Then they are the one who leads the rest of the bots into the trusted circle by following them.
