Most of the time I keep myself busy and focused on the “mission”. But sometimes I “wake up” and think - WTF am I doing with my life? 🐶🐾🤔🤔🤔

This realization hits me at least once a week.
The thought spiral usually starting from, we created this complex system that we are now slaves to.
We created millions of small conveniences in our lives, but now we are stuck in silly routines to keep them going.
What was so wrong with simple farming, baking, barbers, etc. life we had just 80 years ago.
And for what?
It’s 2:20 am, I’m in dream land, better sign off 😅
That life is still possible. You just to have to really want it.
You are right. But life is not about what I just want.
Past was shittier, don’t try to romanticize it. It was hard, more wasteful and mostly sad. Common human fallacy that we all fall for. Also, don’t worry about things you can’t act upon, you are wasting your energy. 🐶🐾🫡

Progress and sacrifice, with a lot of happy moments in between !
Despite disbelief of many, it does get better, it is just hard to notice when you are in the mood it 🐶🐾🫡
The trick is to take the good things from today and create a simple life from the past. 85 years ago one of my kids probably would have died in childhood, maybe my wife during childbirth, and my life span would’ve been shorter. I’ll keep the modern medicine, the ability to travel, the balanced diet, the time for recreation, but the rest…..it’s for the birds.
The rest is us trying to find a better way, and failing 99% of the time like we supposed to! 🐶🐾🫡
