This is actually very common for brazillians. There is a very heavy socialist/pro-state indoctrination here.
It's no wonder brazil is in such a bad spot on global economic freedom index: the majority of the population supports it.
BR twitter is filled with people literally advocating for China and North Korea lol.
So even when some of us somehow manage to develop an interest in decentralization, it's hard to fully get rid of a life of state indoctrination.

Fun fact: I was once bullied out of a telegram BR shitcoin group because I did the unthinkable -> I said Bitcoin's decentralization and censorship-resistant properties cause it to be a inherently pro-libertarian tech. Those guys wanted me dead hahahah 🤣 probably because most brazillians are led to believe all libertarians are evil capitalists who want poor people to die or something 🤦🏻♂️
