Sometimes I feel so hopeful that with the amount of freedom technology we have that winning in is inevitable.

But then others its hard to imagine a future where we don't end up monitored and tagged slaves.

Today I had the insidious idea that every car in the future would get a digital screen installed near the license plate that would display a QR code containing a link to all information about all passengers and the driver that would change depending on who enters the vehicle. I almost threw up on myself I was so disgusted by how natural this thought came to me.

It is gross.

I would not be surprised if modern cars just about do this anyway by detecting which Bluetooth devices are in the car and phoning all that data home.
