Potatoes have a place for those who are insulin sensitive and active in physical work and play.

I was insulin sensitive, weight lifting, eating a bunch of potatoes with my meals. Got rid of the potatoes, sugars and other plants and now I feel much better.

Folks who are unable to tolerate plant toxins have heightened sensitivity to them, probably due to leaky gut.

I had the same problem for ages.

Suggest cycling megadose l-glutamine, zinc carnosine, lactoferrin, and collagen. Folks in this camp tend to respond well to dessicated thyroid (assuming your motility is poor and you wake up cold).

Of all the plant foods, you *should* be able to tolerate fruit, rice, and potatoes assuming adequate activity.
