Speak for yourself. HODLing for 13 years is what allowed me to retire and homeshool my daughter and witness every second of development.

*Now* I am spending of course, but it was HODLing that got me here.

I am speaking for myself. That’s why I said “imo” which means in my opinion. I HODL too of course but I’m aware spending bitcoin and replacing it leads to the same position as spending fiat, except that spending the sats contributes in whatever small way to MoE adoption and encourages businesses/merchants to accept bitcoin. That being said I’ll stand behind my take that just HODLing and never spending sats is lame af.
