WoS was no different than the old days of carrying a physical wallet with cash in it.

I remember those days.

Circa 2008, Took the fam to the beach one day & left it on top of the car after getting everyone/everything loaded.

Didn’t even notice the wallet fly off the back & disperse the $150 cash all over the parking lot.

Nice guy called my cell from a business card I left in the wallet. He gathered up the cash he found, $140 or so and gave me back my wallet & cash.

There’s always some risk with money. Just don’t be stupid, like me.

Back in high school I worked in the backshop of a golf club. It was one of my jobs to collect the closest to the pins after the last group had finished.

On the way to the sixth green I found 9-100$ bills. The boys liked to bet! This was a lot of money for me back then and in general.

After I had picked up the cash, I went down to the restaurant/bar where all the men were and announced my findings on the mic.

The member collected his cash and proceeded to give me 300$, and bought me a few jaeger bombs after my shift.

I’ve always looked at custodial lightning wallets as old school wallets. Never put more into than what your willing to lose. 🤙
