Controversial, but I think likes are not totally useless.

It’s kinda like a hat tip.. essentially communicating copy that. Similar to a nod in a normal physical reaction acknowledging you were heard.

This is not controversial. This is your and others preference, and that is fine.

My bad, didnt mean to presume your preference.

My point is whatever your preference is, that is OK, and this is not, and shouldn’t be controversial.

I remove likes not because I deem them useless. Rather I find higher signal without them.
