Controversial, but I think likes are not totally useless.
It’s kinda like a hat tip.. essentially communicating copy that. Similar to a nod in a normal physical reaction acknowledging you were heard.

This is basically what I posted earlier. They are like a smile and cost nothing but are a simple acknowledgement that you are being seen.
I say it's more for someone comes and makes an account and is just noting btc info or just noting but funny skits to start a following and generate some revenue from that particular account.. it can be anything like food recipes or car tips hair tips just general value information thats how I would use zaps only feature..
This is not controversial. This is your and others preference, and that is fine.

Agreed, I usually zap notes that I find value in like useful information or good entertainment, but I don’t want to zap every single post I simply agree with. I think they both serve their purpose.
Alas! The choice is all ours!
This is my way of thinking too, I zap the notes that I think have useful value (or sometimes just for fun!) but that is never going to be the same as the notes that I agree with and would give a like to.
