Good morning 🌞

I actually dislike most Portuguese coffee.

It’s so damn bitter and highly caffeinated.

Gotta find the cafes serving arabica coffee or you end up jotting like a madman 🖋️

Have a good one Nostr ✌🏻

This is why pastel de nata was invented!

…and the abatanado is easier to drink than the bica.

Pastel de nata ftw

Good morning 🌼

GM Joe. ☕️

Mornin Joe☕️🙂☀️

Ask a glass with 2/3 ice cubes. Put the coffee in there and let it cold a bit, maybe you'll like it more 🤙🏼

We used to like Milkees and Shakar in Lisboa, if going for the local stuff it needed to be washed down with a cheeky Superbock

They serve robusta ? Maybe try a decent local coffeeshop where you can choose your grains.

Sometimes i go to Leonidas stores, it's a chocolate brand but some stores are coffeeshop too, the coffee is good there.

Yep!! I know two near me that do arabica but it's 4x the price

Afraid not....

I like my coffee black and strong.

I suggest, trying Instead of Nicola, a place with Delta coffee brand.

If coffee if bitter, usually is the person taking it that does not know how to take a good coffee. 🤷

Where are you? I go to Copenhagen Coffee Lab and Fabrica when I’m there.

Don’t forget the Pastel de Belem to go with it ;-)

But cheap

Vais beber mais uma bica? 🇵🇹

Stop blaming the coffee, Joe 🇬🇧🚒😎

agree! come to Berlin!

It's the Americano of Portugal. Maybe you'll like it! Just ask for an "abatanado" and they'll put water in the coffee and a bigger cup (like a tea cup).

agreed - my bica kicks like a mule

Morning Joe 🌄🌄

GM Joe. Have a good one. ☀️☕️📣🤙

Oh, wow. The constant coffees and pastries is what I enjoy most about PT.

We Portuguese miss our coffee when abroad... usually to soft and watery....🙃😂😆😁🫂🫂🫂

I told you it wasn’t the best in the world, but the culture of “having a coffee” is wonderful!
