How does one create a voice note (YakBak) on #Amethyst?

I also noticed that you respond to voice notes by tapping and holding on the mic icon, but it seems to randomly stop recording. nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgswaehxw309ahx7um5wghx6mmd9uq3wamnwvaz7tmkd96x7u3wdehhxarjxyhxxmmd9ukfdvuv, I would like to see this changed to tapping the icon to start recording and tapping again to stop, and preferably with a way to preview your recording before sending.

YakBak doesn't. It lets you preview the recording before sending.

You can't initiate the conversation via Amethyst, as of yet. And recording replies currently only works 1 layer deep, so no replies to replies yet. The mic is there but it doesn't engage.

I agree, a preview would be nice, but I kind of like the no-take-backs approach, too, because its a lot more like real life 😂

Does yakbak store our voice notes?

I don't want to download yakbak. It would be great if amethyst would just let us upload voice notes by default to the media servers on our settings that way the voice notes are stored in our media server of choice.

Looked to me like YakBak uploade them to Primal's blossom server. I would definitely prefer to see that updated to the user's preferred media server.
