I love lightning, and stuff like taproot assets can beat a bunch of the usefulness of some ETH projects. There are long tail things that are building that will survive for quite some time I think. I'm particularly in the DAO space which I don't see very much discussed in the context of bitcoin.
Discussion
In the case of DAO, I was excited at first and was one of the people who invested in 'the dao' project.
But from seeing a few projects in action it seems like it all boils down to 'democratising the organisation' through different mechanisms for determining voting rights.
I personally don't think that is a good idea, I prefer anarchy to democracy.
I tend to agree. I think democratic pushes result in poor DAO experiences. I think the ability to form partnerships of n individuals enforced by a smart contracts has some yet seen benefits that are worth exploring. I belive the goal should be directing efforts in a way that isn't democratic but optimizes for actual coordination among the parties involved.
