Do we have a fork of Amethyst for #Monero tipping yet?

We have Mostard and green art is working on Garnet.

I have a really hard time with Mostard. I keep trying it its just too much for me.

Why? I'm thinking of supporting #monero tip on my nostr client, so I need feedback

Its web based and all my relays get messes up. I see a fraction of what I see in Amethyst and the layout formatting is off. Just a lot of wasted space and not intuitive. It's like a Swiss Army knife with all kinds of features I don't know how to use.

Probably some people love it. Not all clients should be the same so I'm sure it suits some people. Just not me. I'm on off once or twice a day.. Check in.. Like comment, etc then log off.

replying from garnet right now!

I thought garnet was not being maintained. Dude created it and left... Or am I wrong?

yeah no updates, but for now it works

I was busy trying to fix some performance issues in citrine. I'll see if I can find a way to add it directly to amethyst this time as vitor suggested

Sorry for the dumb question but what does this have to do with adding Monero tipping?

What I mean is I'll try to add the monero tipping directly to amethyst instead of making a fork

With cakewallet background sync it's going to work pretty slick too if you use an external wallet.

Thank you very much. That's awesome.

Any updates on this? Have you started working on it?

Yes, the only thing missing is the monero zap event that garnet had

Are you working solo on this? Will the design have a built-in wallet or use an external wallet?

Working solo. Will use only a external wallet

Legend!

Thank you!

Is there a way people can donate in XMR? Wanna share your address?

Will it use a specific wallet, or be wallet agnostic? What's that workflow look like?

I had asked the monfluo https://codeberg.org/acx/monfluo dev if he would be interested in implementing an API allowing for a signing request to be sent, he said no but almost all the work needed for that behind the scenes is the same as for qr code based transaction signing which is planned.

Wallet agnostic.

Wallet agnostic, I just send an android intent.

From my tests it works with monfluo and cake, stack duo doesnt work and other wallets I haven't tried

That is awesome, I'm very excited.

Any updates on this?

I started working on it and made the pull request in amethyst. It's a big change and it will take some time.

The closest to a XMR fork is Garnet and it is still a WIP.

Looks like nostr:nprofile1qqs827g8dkd07zjvlhh60csytujgd3l9mz7x807xk3fewge7rwlukxgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7auvdel is going to incorporate Monero tipping into Amethyst. No need to fork.

Send him a zap or two if you could.
