No splits are only possible on NostrWalletConnect. Otherwise damus would need to open two invoices externally which would be a pita.

It goes to #damus which encompasses a ton of parts of the business. We will share more on this going forward but essentially this is the monetization idea we’re starting with to avoid VC funding and advertising. We want to continue to innovate, spread the word, compensate contributors, etc. 💜

I think theres a small bug where it will fail to zap the first time you attach your wallet. I hear that if you force restart your app it should fix itself. Still working out the quirks, this is the first alpha release.

Need get Alby they say in posts. With Alby (which is an app? wallet? Don’t really kno) ya can setup % percentage of your zap to go to Damus corporation. Let’s say ya wanna zap my post 20 sats, part of your zap will go to Damus. So as examples if ya set Damus % as 20%, I would get 16 sats & Damus gets other 4 sats. At least that’s how I understand it.. maybe I’m wrong 🤷♀️
Ya get a star when ya giving % of your zaps to Damus. Dunno what colour each star means. Think yellow means 100%

So when I zap 111 then you get 111 and Damus also gets 111 so that one zap really costs me 222 if that makes sense

It’s like restaurants then. Add 10%, 20%, or your “tip” amount on top of your food costs. Gotcha. Does it tell you the total amount before ya press send?
Example: if you zapped me 739 sats, the then with 20% tip to Will corp, does it tell you the total sats your spending?

Yes cause I have 100% set on mine so it costs me twice as much
