Anyone have any clue where the hell this is in the android file system? Like what is the actual file path? I want to direct my audio player to files in this directory, but they don't seem to exist - are they just tags that create fake folders or something?

If I start at Pixel7Pro there does not seem to be a way to navigate to this nice audio directory where my books were automatically saved & grouped by author...?

Those are more like categories that group files together that are found on the local storage from any application that saves data in local storage. However, audio files are normally saved in the music, ringtones, or audiobook default directories.

Yeah, I think the actual files are just in my downloads folder

I don't really use a phone anymore, but from what I recall there can be multiple root-looking directories

Audio should be in one of them

It is a real directory. Almost all default filesystem explorers can only explore a set of specific directories (Images, Music, etc.)

I will to suggest to try the "Material Files", which allow to navigate the filesystem without restrictions. It should at least help to see where are your files. You can also find the app on Google Play
