It's actually considered the highest level of insult and disrespect to suggest or remark that ones family/lineage is rife with adulters (at least traditionally).

True, but he brought up the conversation about his sisters. I didn’t initiate it. So I feel like it was reasonable to comment truthfully.

I know a family that had three children (two boys and a girl). When the boys and the girl grew up they all got married -- and they all got divorced. At the time this was VERY uncommon in that specific country.
