I had a friend visiting last week and he mentioned that he was hoping to retire early in 10 years or so. We've known each other a long time, so he easily noticed my poorly covered sense of dread and laughed at me.
I mean, I get it. But it's not me. The best problem in the world is to have too much exciting and important feeling work to do and never enough time to do it all.
I'm eternally grateful to have somehow found myself in this position.
I'll never retire. 💜

Retiring for me is doing what I care about which I don't plan on ever stop doing and not having to work for others because I have to which is currently the case.
Exactly! I want to just do some useful work that I appreciate without looking into how much I’m paid for. I just need to retire me and my whole family.
