Why does graphene os only offer builds for google devices?

Could someone figure out how to build graphene for other devices and start supporting it?

Purchasing a device from one of the least trustworthy companies in the world to install one of the most secure operating systems for android devices. Is a mental hurdle morally and ethically I can not personally justify ever doing.

So I am forever looking over the other side of the fence to greener pastures. Hoping one day someone installs a gate to them.

Other device manufacturers don't provide the hardware necessary to run the features we want, including this one which needs hardware accelerated virtualization. A lot of people online say it's about lockable bootloaders but it's a lot more than just that.

Fuck man. That is an exhausting list. At that point might as well start working on building your own devices. Alternatively working directly with new willing manufacturers to get that list satisfied.

I dont think i am ever going to get to use this operating system unless that happens.

This feels like someone with an insane dating profile that reads like I only date people over 6ft 9in tall, body builder, billionare, with 4 houses, 2 yachts, and gets a brand new ferrari every 3 months.

At some point you gotta ask yourselves do you want to keep on that google dick, or venture out to reach a wider audience. In order to satisfy a higher market need and demand for your products.
