Do you also get DMs from people (women so far) asking how you like Nostr, what your name is, and where you live? I mean...what's that all about? Their profile usually says something about crypto, trading, exploring etc.

So, all that makes me skeptical anyways...are they stalkers, bots or brokers or what?

#asknostr

I am only interested in real people who have a real interest in real communication and real exchange.

Almost All my DMs are from scammy 50 year old fellas talking about my crypto experience. A clear sign there’s no algorithm. πŸ˜‚ DMs on Nostr are a bug, not a feature.

Oh ok... They try...and if I tell them I won't tell them my name, they get really upset πŸ˜† Like this one: "Oh this all boils down to you definitely having trust issues I see Mr Nobody πŸ€”but I pretty much understand the angle you're coming from to me" πŸ˜‚

Yeah i had this too. But those in arabic (i think) might be more interesting 🀷

Arabic?! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I used to get that a lot on reddit. The scam is that they try and get you to send Bitcoin to their exchange ( not a real exchange) to trade and make a return. Obviously you'll never see the Bitcoin again but they will convince you to send more because it will appear as profitable.

Uff...what a scam...! I would never trust these fake promises...
