Oh I’ve never had someone do this before. Guessing I just generate a key in the P2PK section of my cashu wallet and use that?

Yes, you can generate a PK and tell someone to lock the token to the pubkey... though requires you to tell them up front vs using your npub

Yes, NIP-07 signers don't allow signing of arbitrary message at the moment, so a PK is unavoidable:

NCR is browser only for PK ops - nothing sent to our server.

Or you can wait for Cashu.me to support it (also local use of PK).

Or you can use 0xchat (also uses PK for login)

Or leave it and those 10 sats are burnt forever.

Not any more it doesn't... you can now use Alby or AKA Profiles extension to sign the token unlock in Nostrly Cashu Redeem. Your nsec stays safe.
