I had been in my career for nearly two decades & realized I had hit my ceiling. I knew that if I wanted to make a life-changing move for my family, it wouldn't come from climbing the corporate ladder. I needed to make an educated bet on something truly revolutionary with asymmetric potential. My compound gains in the stock market had been decent over the years, but that wasn't going to transform our lives.

In 2016, I bought a few Bitcoin, held them for about a year & a half, and tripled my money before cashing out most of it. Watching Bitcoin soar to $20,000 in just 10 months after I sold was a moment of revelation. I spent the next two years regretting that decision to sell, and in 2020, after investing hundreds of hours into studying #Bitcoin, I knew this was the bet I had to make.

I scraped together every cent I could find for the next four years, living well below my means, stacking sats before the rest of the world discovered the truly remarkable properties of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has taught me a lot about genuine conviction, patience, and virtues, about finance, and macro & microeconomics, and most certainly about gratitude and humility. There were definitely some gut-wrenching moments in this journey.

While still not wealthy by conventional measure, the stack we’ve accumulated could provide a nice cushion or safety net for my family if ever needed. #Bitcoin has become, and will remain, our primary savings vehicle. The future is bright☀️
