I have never tried it, how does it taste? π
I've only ever made this twice in my life. It's not common this part of the United States. In the south, it's very common. As for the taste, I love it. It's rich and creamy and spicy because of the sausage. It's really simple to make. Just sausage and milk. And then homemade biscuits to top it off!

Still got one local place that makes it from scratch. All othes went out of business an replaced by these evil doers using canned stuff. Also my stepmother says the most important ingredient to her sausage gravy is a cast iron skillet. I think she just doesnβt want to tell me the actual secret ingredient she usesβ¦
I always use cast iron!
