there is no genuine efficiency in using AI to generate code

and even when it gets better, there will be no innovation either, that all has to be written yet, AI only knows what is already written

This is very true. If the thing you want built has not yet been built or is still quite niche, AI is maybe only gonna help you buy tokens!
