Imagine being on the otherside of this with the fascist, communists, and liberals. Committing your life to surveilling, hurting, and suppressing others because of your existential angst of a God-State that hates you with all of its being, and the prattle that forces you to obey.
It is a sad and pathetic life that would not be worth living.
The less justified someone is in claiming excellence for their own self, the more ready that person is to claim all excellence for their cause. These people are all frustrated because they're incompetent and have disdain for themselves, so they put their cause outside of themselves in "the greater good."
Interesting thought experiment. Seems like it would require some significant psychological pain or impairment to embrace that lifestyle.
I've always wondered if they really fear God or if they mistook their father's anger and disappointment in his life for God.
It is important not to confuse the Super-ego with God.
