I was one of them, being forced.. felt like shit.. like I was betraying myself, an imposter, a hypocrite.. my financial situation obligated me.. this was what I thought.. then I realized I put myself in that position, and I had to change something inbmy life to avoid ending again in a situation like that, where I have to barter my convictions and idea because I don't have the financial freedom tp act differently.. I found #bitcoin, I foundd different incentives, and I have found a lower time preference.

Maaan, I know that feeling! If this wouldn’t happen to me I probably would be living the most boring and stupid life or just dead because of the thing injected inside me to get that useless $2k paycheck. Having the core principles and being sovereign individual is what my kids will learn from things I have done in the past😉

I had to learn it the hard way, and hopefully one day I will have the opportunity and luck to have kids and teach them what I had to endure and go through because of my lack, how it deeply influenced me and how to avoid that, how to be able to stay stick to your principles.. glad you were able to, I still feel sick thinking about it, I went against my guts, against my intuition, and against friends and family, because of course I was super skeptical and critized for my thinking.. it is what it is, I learned from that. Always trust my intuition, no matter what other think, because I am the person I will spent the most of my life with.

Indeed. Also, payoffs for winning aren’t as big as you’d think. IANAL, but my understanding is you basically get whatever money you would have had if they didn’t fire you; taking another job that pays the same or more limits the liability of the wrongful termination.

I think US medical resident physicians who didn’t resign probably have the best cases. They can’t work as physicians in the US without completing training. Ever.
