The executive order is a promise to HODL 6102ed bitcoin for at least 4 years.
There are two benefits to this strategy.
1. Other countries might consider creating their own strategic bitcoin reserve.
2. The market won't get spooked if the US moves this bitcoin while Trump is POTUS.
Where does it say 4 years?
Executive Orders in the US are ephemeral. Trump is on his last term. Therefore, the next president can easily overturn the strategic #bitcoin reserve with a new executive order.
