You can't steal an art style. Ideas don't belong to anyone.

Ideas are non-scarce and are therefore not property

Few people have even considered this. They mostly feel for the small artists. Yet the IP system is skewed to benefit those with deep pockets. Not that little guy.

The whole point of private property is to provide an objective method dispute reconciliation. But disputes only happen over scarce goods.

Nobody disputes over oxygen in the air or the laws of mathematics because one person’s use of it does not hinder someone else’s use of it

Hmmm... Why does it feel so dirty?

How?

Conditioning. But the thing I would guess is copying without attributing the influence. Thing is, that is just a tradeoff of the technology we have. It has pros and cons. Tech is amoral. We still need to act with morals. Yet those seem to be in rare supply.

💯 Copyright and patents are fiat scams. If you put an idea out in public it can’t be stolen.

Exactly. Anything that can be copied is not capable of being stolen. Copying is not theft. IP law is an appeal to kingly authority and nothing more. Has no basis in natural law. Has no clear lines. It's completely arbitrary the more you think about it.

If you care about artists support them. If only we had internet money....

Yup.

All AI models should be leaked and made open source. Fuck OpenAI.

What I'm saying dosen't equate to everything ought to be open source. The only way to keep your idea is to keep it away from people.

But yeah it would be really nice if it was open source.

IP laws are bullshit
