My new Tapsigner arrived today. It took a long ass time to get here, but it's now in my hands and that's all that matters. I think Coinkite should hire some more people to process orders because it took them two weeks to actually ship it. I don't mind transit time, but sitting there waiting for them to actually acknowledge your order and put it in the mail is infuriating. But yeah, Tapsigner!

I am very intrigued. I know you already explained it well, and succinctly - I'm still intrigued...

It's a hardware signer on an NFC card. You just assign your wallet key to the Tapsigner, and you'll be required to tap it on your phone to sign your send transactions. It basically moves the key to the card. It's very similar to other hardware wallets, but the configuration is done in your wallet app, and there's no interactivity other than tapping it when you're sending a transaction. And it's only $20 so you can get a few of them for signing multi-sig transactions.
