I don't think I can go back. Those promoted ads made me feel dirty.
Advertisers will come when it's profitable, but I think it will be very different.

You'll be responsible for promoting an ad or not, but you'll get paid when you do. I suspect those will be some nice size ⚡ too. I suppose it might, in the future, even be calculated upon the number of your followers.

I heard several conversations about this at Nostrica and completely agree. I think it’s exciting that we can have more control of advertising as consumers rather than only serve as a captive audience.
Totally agree that value proposition for advertising will be different on Nostr, and glad it will be different than Twitter…because Bitcoin and Zaps change the dynamic.
