Looks like a durianda. What is it

Uuffff i want to get my hands on some durians. This is a jackfruit πŸ’―.

Why do durians smell like dogshit

From an evolutionary standpoint it makes sense for a few things. Signal ripeness. Strong odor to facilitate macrofauna finding it, elephants primates etc, leading to seed dispersal. Predator deterrent. I've never tried one. Ppl bought the property where I was going to liberate some before I could lol.

Lol. I saw signs in hotel rooms saying β€œπŸš« durians” before I ever smelled it. Bizarre going in to it like that but I can see why πŸ˜‚

Ik some ppl that were gifted a durian and left it in their car while on a trip for a week lmfao. Rekt AF. I can't imagine the aroma 🀣🀣🀣🀣.

Just burn the car down πŸ˜‚

In Singapore they have signs no durians on the public buses.

Beautiful!

Jack fruit? If it is I'll take some please.

🎯🎯🎯 hella big Jackfruit. Can't wait until it's ripe. It's gonna be a feast.

That's one of my favorites.

I remember the first time I cracked one open. Blew my mind.

Where you at? I ate then fresh in southeast Asia. Sometimes they are available frozen in Canada.

I'm in Puerto Rico. Tropical >50⁰F maximalism πŸ’―. I've never had frozen jackfruit. Gonna try that next time I crack one open. There's too much to eat in one sitting.

Freeze & then use in smoothies instead of ice 🀝

Who needs meat when you got jack fruit?

I've never tried unripe boiled jackfruit. Do you recommend it?

No I’ve only had it cooked with bbq sauce

Jack fruit the meaty substitute for vegans!!

Dang I'm jealous πŸ‘€

In china it was named "树菠萝" or "ζ³’η½—θœœ".πŸ˜
