Homosexuality and the rest of the alphabet culture are socially and personally degenerate. The behavior is genetic suicide. In the same way that degenerate behaviors like gambling or alcoholism shouldn’t be celebrated with “pride” so should it be for this lifestyle choice. And no, I don’t hate these people and I have friends who would be in this camp, but I also don’t condone this behavior. I used to think like you but then I saw that this isn’t some 2-5% minority holding fast over time. Since this sin has been celebrated and normalized, every subsequent generation has become increasingly identified with it. Around 20% of Gen Z are alphabet people. Something evil is happening here and it will not end well.

Yes. If you really love someone, you will tell them the truth instead of pretending to give a shit but actually just looking out for yourself by tickling ears with your words.
While I agree with the sentiment (real love & care must be rooted in reality) I don't think it's possible to "pray away the gay."
It is possible that some past abuse was the catalyst (homosexuality is highly correlated with abuse) & finding ways to heal past trauma can be helpful in whatever sort of relationships a person wishes to pursue. But we get more of what we focus on, the more you focus on the thing you want to get rid of, the more of that thing you are going to get. Focusing on emotional healing & fostering healthy relationships (including healthy boundaries & basic habits), & otherwise treating someone like family (with no focus on sexual preference one way or the other) is really the way forward.
There are many former homosexuals who found a new life in following Christ. So, you are just flat out wrong. I have met some of these people.

Well... I know a whole lot of really fucked up people who use religion to hide from a whole bunch of their problems. The question is are you seeing reality or just what you want to see? Did you really help heal them or did you help them build a religious mask in order to hide from deeper issues in a new way?
There seem to be some intelligent & pretty based Christians in Bitcoin & libertarian spheres, but they are a tiny minority in what otherwise seems to be a world of fantasy & delusion & all sorts of weird social masks. Most churches seem to be a path to greater delusion today than any sort of return to reality. In other words, most are more like houses of satan than houses of God.
Too few see how this movement has been co-opted and is being used to push ESG / SEL / SDG, etc. It's been chosen as a Maoist attack vector against classical liberalism. This is explicitly stated by Marcuse, Butler, Rubin, Crenshaw, etc. It's one thing to love the sinner, hate the sin on an individual basis. It's another to recognize and reject a Maoist cultural revolution on the other.
I'm pretty sure this was always the intent of the so called "gay rights" movement but it has become much more obvious lately. I'm surprised so many still think it is some good-hearted grass roots thing. It is basically the new flag of the radical marxists in the West. In ancient times, conquered peoples would be subjugated and the men castrated.
