Oridinals is a terrible brand. But buried in there are some pretty good code. Namely, that prunable OP_RETURNS can cheaply create colored coins without bloating the block chain. Take that bit and combine it with nostr. Then you have lots of good solutions, with different trade offs.

- on-chain / high fees

- lightning / low fees, requires config and maintanance

- cashu / low fees, requires to trust a mint

- liquid / low fees, requires to trust a federation

- colored coins, rgb, tarot / requires to trust an npub
