You don’t want to be your own coordinator, because you want to be in the biggest pool to hide in. There is no point. Are you going to hide among your own utxos? That’s why Craig Raw of sparrow wallet chose not his own coordinator but whirlpool the bigger the pool the easier is to hide in it. Soon decentralized coordinator in works
