Getting an urge to splurge on a used Pixel 8. No idea why and definitely don't need one, my 6a works fine, most of the time. Talk me out of it!

Have a good one 🧡⚡

Get sats instead.

I'm using a Pixel 5 and driving a car from 2006 with 377k miles on it. The alternative is fewer sats, which is unacceptable to me.

Admire your time preference sir!

Get it.

Helpful 🤣

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Unless you want to fake pictures of yourself playing basketball or something.

I'd be installing Graphene so the AI shit wouldn't work anyway

If that's the case, stay on the 6a imo, the phone with break in it's own sweet time.

I also want to get a Pixel 8 .. I can't talk you out of it 🤙🏼

Good Morning 🌞☕

Gm. I got a 7a as a smaller option to my 6 pro a while ago. If anything it's slower but the smaller form factor is nice. 6a to 8 will definitely have a performance boost. Probably noticable on heavier apps.

That's my only real gripe tbh. Certainly don't want a much larger screen.

Does the 7a have wireless charge?

yes, it has wireless charging.

the pixel 4 was the ideal size. i really don't like the size of the current flagships. i'd sacrifice a camera lens for a smaller phone.

Your urge is only sanctified through graphene. Otherwise it is mere weakness, degeneracy, and capitulation.

Lol, been running it for years now

Your GrapheneOS guide is the bees knees. Very helpful. Thanks QnA 🤙

Hat tip.

I discovered it from your content.

GM☕️☕️🌅💜Wait a week then reconsider✌️

Obwohl the 8 has 8gb of ram I would get the pro with 12. Why? Using apps like simplex consume a lot of ram, simplex itself more than 1gb.

Fair point. Just wish the screen wasn't so damn big

You should, Pixel 8 has hardware memory tagging, which is supported by GrapheneOS and it's a huge security boost.

Don’t be an idiot.

But more corn.

How’s that

Eloquently put sir.

you shorting sats then?

P8 should get updates until 2030, P6a only until 2025
