It's kinda nice when a client I'm using fails to load the username of someone commenting, then I am forced to read the thing without prejudging.
(Actually it is not nice at all, but it is interesting, some people may find it nice.)

I find myself boosting Derek Ross and Gigi before the name even loads sometimes
I sometimes see names in some events of the same thread but not in others.
That bug could even be a feature in some nostr clients:
Were you impressed or disappointed after finding out who it was? 😅

I’m completely bias, I think sombreros are impressive lol. That aside, didn’t realise a whole algo debate is going on on nostr:npub1qkfnmpuz692azr8c5phn0930x2v92xyqvwgr6ve8znaa3qd6c3hq09ertp ‘S side , good to see these things talked abt in the open.
“Prejudging” means “using reputation which you associate with identity”.
Yes, it is both good and bad
Yeah - it's interesting the meaning that is bestowed on a note just by knowing who authored it.
Often times it’s the other way around for me. Other comments and metrics don’t load until after I’ve commented - so it’s a fairly unbiased opinion, but sometimes wouldn’t mind reading what others have said first to avoid being repetitive
