Anyone using the platform at this point is crazy. I stopped using it when they started saying that they owned your photos, I think that was over 10 years ago. Soon after that they turned private posts public, "accidentally". Garbage site. Can't wait for Nostr local markets to make it irrelevant, because the market seems to be why people still use it.

Absolutely. Going to need to have people start a lot of local markets to allow for replacement of Facebook. Local delivery and in-person payments make it easier for people to sell, even if they elect not to use sats. Currently, and slowly, working on getting one setup for our area.
I'm hoping a reputation system (rating) is added to these markets soon.
pledian.market plans to add history based localized reputation (kindof trust pilot not manual moderated) - infact a brand new npub (have a few testing ones) never get audience within days here unlike X bots do
I have noticed other apps doing the same thing and figured it was for a similar purpose.
