I hate to say it, but for the new user. Primal is still the best entry point into the Nostr ecosystem. Amethyst would be perfect if it had a wallet and was cross-platform, Damus you need to jigger it to use #zaps, Primal is cross-platform, has a wallet, and a decent UI... it's a win.

I just stated, it's cross-platform, has a wallet, and is halfway decent. I've used it for a long time so I am unsure of the autofollow. But that is easily remedied by unfollowing, at least you see some traffic initially.
You can see traffic on Explore with Nostur and with Global on Damus without autofollows.
I’ll agree it’s halfway decent, it’s also missing half the nostr experience… like the ability to curate your own feed from the start, live streams, nostr nests, etc..
I’m just saying in order for people to use a new social media they need to use social media in a new way.
