In my defense, I've been pretty sick for two weeks following the Madeira visit. Cold and wet weather, stayed outside drinking till 2:30am, heating partly broken, so here I am with the sinusitis from hell.

When I taught up North, the boys would compete to see who could remain outside in -45c the longest in a pair of shorts and t shirts.
Great way to get frostbite :)
I have zero sensation in my right thigh to this day after guard duty up north in -40c wearing summer kit. Some sergeant thought that was a great way to discipline me 🤷♂️
