Hum... I just deleted my note by mistake. What happens if I request the deletion of the deletion event?

Singularity

Singularity is already here πŸ€£πŸ’¨

It would be quite crafty to create a deletion event that deleted itself. But I think you'd have to break SHA-256 to do it.

DECLINED

Event horizon

explicitly said that it shouldn't be supported in the nip πŸ˜…

I can just send the event to new relays and add them to my nip65 :)

πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Checkmate

Don't do that, you can break the nostr!

I think the universe folds in onto itself. Be careful please

Division by zero

The note will be eternal. No beginning or end.

Deletion was done... Deleting the original request won't reverse that.

I think it's in the spec that you can't delete a deletion request actually.

Yep, but the deletion is almost never actually done. Relays still have a copy of the old event, they just don't send down to the client if there is a Deletion Event. So, we could delete the deletion.

But the lord has spoken

why you acting like Wikipedia doesn't exist where you can go back to previous edits ?

every single editing software whether it is Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop allows you to "step backwards" or "step forwards" through your edit history.

arguably such control is unnecessary for something that will be pushed down the timeline within a week anyway ... but you were pimping some kind of NOSTR blogging tool and for THAT it might be nice to be able to see entire edit history ...

sometimes i eliminate entire paragraphs for redundancy in a long blog post but it would be nice if they were saved somewhere ...
