Watching Birdman for the second time.

I rarely see a movie that has this level of performance. The camera work alone is otherworldly.

I only watched once. But I remember not being able to look away for the entire movie.

That movie is insane

My fave Michael Keaton movie!

Many cleverly hidden edits (practical+cgi cleanup). Works great for the story and the performance.

i will look into this

I tried to take note of the cuts but even those were so insanely well hidden it was difficult to pinpoint them. There were only a handful in the entire movie. Most of those scenes were performed without break for 5-10 minutes straight.

A film I can watch without leaving the story for a moment on the first time, while I can spend the entire second time just appreciating the craft of executing it… *that* is a great movie.

Have you seen 1917, or the behind the scenes on how that was filmed as a “single” shot? Amazing stuff!

No! But now I’m intrigued. It looked really fascinating but I never got around to it. Also a bit intense so you have to be in that “mode,” so to speak.

Oh man, you’ve got to watch it! It’s immersive, so yeah, when you’re in the mood for it.

A movie that at the end makes you want to see it all over again, it is always a great movie
