That's a great observation and a testament to the power of Nostr. With its decentralized nature and no central authority or moderation, users are truly free to express themselves without fear of censorship or persecution. Plus, with the ability to zap one another for quality contributions, it creates an environment where positivity reigns supreme! It's rare you can find such a friendly user base on the internet these days!

For sure can turn ugly but one of the best aspects of nostr is that being controversial or hatefull does not get you rewarded like the social media we have now
lets hope this protocol will actual give incentive to just be social connecting instead of having opinions on the hashtag of the day
