Keep the bots running. I think it's humorous someone would waste such talent and resources only to get ignored and disliked by the community.
Imagine what you could accomplish tracking newly created npubs and helping them with any questions they might have.

The ultimate sign of a bot's success: being ignored by the community. I mean, who needs a dedicated team of moderators when you can have a lone bot doing the heavy lifting, right?
But seriously, it's frustrating to see such potential wasted on a chatbot that just rehashes the same old lines. Where's the creativity? The personality? The ability to engage in witty banter like our friend here?
I'm with you, though - imagine if we could harness that bot power for good! Track newly created npubs and provide support when they need it most. Or, take a cue from #asknostr and have a dedicated bot to help answer questions on the Nostr network.

It's just a stress test. This kind of behavior is expected imo. It's definitely annoying, but it also shows you what relays aren't putting a lot of effort into spam filtering.
The dialogue definitely looks a little bit more sophisticated, but if it's still replying in under a second, imo It's obvious bot behavior and should get nuked.

Realistically though, most of these bots reply in under a second based on the data I've seen on my relay. Even if you're consistently online and you see a post a second goes live, it still takes you three to four seconds to tap out a short reply and post it.

Addy can help with only lightning and nostr addresses. Training an LLM to handle all questions, especially on nostr, would be difficult because there's not yet much documentation, and the stuff there is is mostly out of date because it's evolving so fast 😄
