Personally, I'm done using Fountain for podcasts: not FOSS, ads, keeps crashing and uses a custodial wallet.

Back to using AntennaPod. The one thing I miss is to send boostagrams. Seriously there's no way to send boostagrams independently using my own independent LN wallet?

The closest thing I found was using geyser.fund where it I can send boostagrams to Citadel Dispatch but that is the only podcast there.

How can "Podcasting 2.0" be such a closed silo that you can only use it with closed source players with integrated custodial wallets?Disappointing...πŸ˜”

Haven’t switch over either because I’m time traveling in 2018 to present day.

But I just ⚑️ podcast hosts/guests when I receive value.

Still very early I guess 🀷.

I used it for half a day. Trash podcatcher.

the thing I dont like is that it needs INternet. Even for the downloaded pods it may hang there forever..

I think is a good way to earn sats.. it's worth a look if the podcast you want is there,, works good for me on Android...

The fractions of cent I earned don't make up for the precious time I lost every time the app crashed and forgot my playback position.

fair...

I agree, it's incredibly buggy

I hate it too. Why in this world they couldn't make it happen? Is there any behind the scenes story going around? C'mon.

Didn't know about this one, looks nice.

I just tried it and looks like it only supports connecting to custodial alby and only support sats streaming (which I really dislike), not boostagrams.

it's nice that there's at least one FOSS app with v4v, let's see if it can get more feature complete!

Thanks for the ⚑

Glad you like the app! Hope it gets those extra features soon.

Podverse is my jam

I love antennapod and will never use another app. Hopefully they'll get boosting soon...

If they do, I hope it works by opening an external wallet, as it should.

Thinking of adding LNC to Podverse for sovereign V4V streaming

YOOOOOO

THIS. WITH THE CUSTODIAL ACCOUNTS. OOOOOOF

Why no love for a simple REST?

You can connect your own node to #[2] and use it with #[3]

I just tried it and you can only use an alby custodial account.

I legit thought it was just me…sigh…

I had similar issues with Fountain. Downloading for offline was the most buggy, and losing playback cursor too.
