UGREEN is an interesting NAS 😂
I just got a UGREEN a few months ago. It's been working well for me.
Wow. Mine was not nearly as all-destroying, but nonstop account lockouts (VPNs?) were what sparked my departure last Fall after 30 years of Apple. So glad I did.
The main reason I have never used Apple is because they're control freak extremists. Always have been, going all the way back to the 80s before the Internet and the cloud were ever a thing.
If in 2025 you still cling to your golden prison, whatever it is (Apple Google Microsoft Twitter Instagram banks ...), then you must accept the consequences.
There are good enough FOSS alternatives for almost everything, and Freedom matters more than your comfort, habits, and TBH laziness to just try something different.
