The internet is weird. I’m listening to a talk by nostr:npub1wslkwq0yrwvlff2n2sr7r4ct6gs480mfj7v0v8xqk0fde6a4krjq5g8r6f about his research of social media.

One surreal split was the woke / anti-woke fight in pro-meth subreddits.

There’s the main meth group with 181k members: https://www.reddit.com/r/meth/

Then there’s a group who didn’t like the woke politics of the main meth users group, so they created https://www.reddit.com/r/MethWithoutCommunism/ which has 28.5k members.

I had no idea that there would be a political split amongst pro-meth mutual aid groups online.
