We have these people in Canada too. They won't. If they somehow find out about these lightning transactions, they'll have nothing to take from me.
the government does have something to take...your FREEDOM. Ask Wesley Snipes how not paying taxes worked out for him. They'll come after you for some of the smallest things and will ruin your life.
The difference is that he probably wasn't earning anonymous bitcoin through his anonymous bitcoin account.
