Tobacco is a potent bactericide. It's good for your teeth and lungs.
It's industrialized cartels the real problem, Big Tobacco. They add a lot of toxic carcinogenic addictive chemicals.
Moderate consumption of high quality tobacco is good for your health.
Keeps the heart and nervous system active, and bacteria levels low.
Its a great insecticide, too. I'm not interested in smoking it, but there's an Australian native Nicotiniana species that's legal to grow here. Good to have for the next time the govt implodes the supply chain (like what France did with its bedbug insecticide).
Unfortunately no one here dares to sell it or its seeds here. Our police are known for being a little heavy handed, and no vendor wants to be proven innocent after a year in jail and a mill in legal fees.
I'm going to have to wild-gather it, or get a US vendor to post the seeds to a dead drop...

I'd like this to be true, but having travelled the Third World a bit I've seen how far governments can implode, and yet retain control of their rackets...
The alternative is a forever war. nobody wins a forever war. just let them implode and we will take over. They are slipping already.
