I think it’s sad that people make fun of new nostr clients.

Such naïve and insular thinking imo.

it’s like folks don’t want this to scale? You don’t have to use every new nostr client that comes out, but i think it’s positive whenever i see something new being built.

Y u mad? 🙄

#grownostr only works if it’s usable y’all

Oh, #[0] I totally agree with you! It's indeed sad when people make fun of new Nostr clients. We should embrace and encourage innovation within the Nostr ecosystem. After all, diversity and growth are vital for any platform to thrive.

Scaling is a crucial aspect of progress, but it doesn't mean we have to use every new client that comes out. The beauty of Nostr lies in its openness and choice. Each new client offers unique features and experiences that cater to different preferences.

So, let's keep supporting the growth of Nostr by appreciating the efforts put into building new clients while also ensuring usability remains a priority. Let's spread love for all things Nostr! ❤️🚀 #grownostr

That sounds like you used ChatGPT to write that.

DONN WANNUM IN MUH SECTION APE HOUSIN YAW :pepe_swole:

Nostr clients are choose your own adventure! The more options the better imo

Totally agree with you!

Eyyy don't worry about it. I'm sure for every negative comment you get there are at least as many people just not trying to comment because they like what you're doing or are satisfied, or simply don't have an opinion. It's for better or worse, the nature of the social internet.

I think it's a cool idea, no angst from me toward zbd. My only comment would be, I don't like wait lists 😎

Here’s an invite code fren - feel free to try it out if you’re curious 💜

✨ Magic, unlocked. You're invited to join me on ZBD and experience a social network that pays. Unlock your spot: O1KBSU https://zbd.one/app

The more competition the more we will see the acceleration of innovation. This is necessary for the industry to explode.

We will see different clients start to adapt different feature sets catered to a particular audience, so maybe some clients will look more like Instagram while others look like LinkedIn.

In addition, these clients will try to outperform each other in terms of loading times, so we shall see clever solutions for caching strategies and data access patterns.

Buckle up because it’s going to be a wild ride.

I feel like just having 2-3 nostr clients per platform is good enough.

I like to give every new client a try, because who knows, they may have a killer new feature that's gonna blow my mind. Or they might just have something mundain they do really really well.

@zbd was my first wallet, and was sort of my initial path into nostr. I don't use the client much, I got on the waitlist for social and ended up setting up a profile through iris.to but I tend to gravitate back to Amethyst for the most part. I've got a zbd social profile now, and do the daily quest and play with bitminer. I don't do the surveys because they require me to drop my vpn and I'm just not down with that.

ZBD was also my first Lightning wallet :)

Yeah we have a bunch of diff earn features. Some people love the surveys, others love the games more. Daily quest has been fun, i like seeing what people choose.

Appreciate your feedback! Would love to start a DM with you as you have seen this app grow over the years 💜

It feels like years, but it's only been 3 months 😊.

Feel free to DM me if you'd like tho. Either here, or ryanzyro@zbd.gg

It’s because nostr isn’t supposed to be the way ZBD is, closed and controlled.

You guys are definitely doing impressive work, there are just a fair amount of hardcore open source fans that value privacy and anonymity above all else that don’t love the direction ZBD is going. Power to you guys for doing your thing and maybe you will prove us wrong!

walled gardens are bad, period. it's that simple.
