Why did it get removed in the first place?
Hmm maybe you missed the mega thread about it in January. I have to dig to find it, but there were many removed from the list that did legit work.
Yeah, I don’t remember that discussion. I probably just wasn’t paying attention.
It got removed along with a whole bunch of others in a big purge a while back. It wasn't nostr enough to be a real nostr app 🤷

yes it does. the complaint was the NIP-53 was incomplete and nostrnests was supposed to complete writing the spec. So I did it for everyone - I extended and wrote the spec, since he kept nostrnests on his app list. As of May 2025, both hivetalk and nostrnests run on kind 30312, 30313, across multiple relays as noted on the nostr-protocol on github.
We wrote our own custom relay and client for Hivetalk Honey, rewrote the entire system from scratch and added a bunch more NIPs. Vanilla was a prototype with just a few basic kinds on the client side.
Either way it doesn't matter. I did a lot of work; I stand by it, and I stopped caring if people think I'm not a legit dev. I really do not feel the need to kow-tow to any central authority that wants to judge me, as that's the point of nostr and bitcoin.
I know what I'm worth and nobody can take that away from me. Its a cruel world out there.
