My eldest daughter got gastro on Friday, vomitted and diarrhoea
Then my son got it yday
And today I’ve been absolutely crippled
Can’t remember last time I got this sick
Peeing out of both ends 😅

Yes we’ve been disinfecting as much as possible, cleaning, washing
But how is it, that 2 people have not fallen sick in the same household?

Maybe you have heard about this before, but women, when selecting a mate, can subconciously smell the prospective mates immune system and it contributes towards or against the attraction, the womans senses are looking for an opposing immune system. The theory is that when it comes to caring for the kids only one parent will be sick at the same time.
In my experience it plays out that way... I can't remember the last time my wife or I both got the same bug, excluding the odd flu here and there.

So my understanding of terrain theory logic would indicate that all 3 of you have been exposed to a toxin.
Is it possible that the 3 of you were exposed to a contaminated starch or sugar? It's the toxin that certain bacteria produce that makes you sick. Many of these pre-made starches are like Petri dishes.
I'd wager food poisoning goes up in a high inflation environment. Did you visit any struggling businesses for a quick bite?
It can take a couple of days after eating for symptoms to show. I'd expect the kids to experience them first.
Germ theory would be to isolate from the baby & possibly your wife. Disinfect everything you dirty heathens!
Terrain theory would be to neutralize & excrete the toxin. CDS & activated charcoal would be my choice.
It's just a theory & I'm not certified to do or say anything.

Gastro is supposedly highly contagious. It appears to spread quickly & then miraculously disappears.
Your beliefs distort your perception though.
I'm leaning towards terrain theory being more useful.

Me, ruby and Alfie have been on some homepathics, charcoal, and rest
We also seperates ourselves as much as possible
And always washing hands
But yes, highly “contagious” stomach bug in the house not taken us all out….

You most likely got norovirus, it should be over in a day or two. Your wife and daughter can still get sick, it takes a while to incubate, up to 2 days, but might also have immunity if they were exposed to it in the past.
